The driving force of DAC is owner Jake Lah.

The most important thing to know about Jake (and DAC) is that he’s not just a successful businessman, he’s a gifted tent designer — he’s a tent designer with his own pole factory. This is a boon for DAC’s corporate customers as well as for the user.

When Jake works on new tents with other designers, he brings years of experience developing stronger, lighter, and higher performing tents. He provides technical guidance and sure-handed development to shepherd new ideas to market.

Product design and innovation isn’t a marketing exercise at DAC, it’s an obsession.

not the known way but the best way. We study, we search, we try, we fail,
but we dare to ask the question and try patiently to answer.

DAC has been trying to build a small community
where workers trust each other and enjoy working
in cozy and green atmosphere.

Social Responsibility

DAC has supported Kakdang Welfare Foundation in both time and treasury.
Over the years DAC has do-nated $2 million dollars to the Foundation.
DAC also sent powdered milk for children in North Korea.

Since we never know whether our products will protect someone's life in Antarctica, or on a picnic in the park, our quality must be consistently excellent. We strive to meet and exceed our customers' expectations through our consistency and dependability.

We are dedicated to being trustworthy and sincere in what we do, how we do it and for whom we do it. We believe that soundness of purpose, process and product creates harmony and wholeness.

Mindfulness

We are  respecting each other, our environment and we try to be mindful of our impact on our country and the world. While we are self-critical in order to improve ourselves, we also pay attention to the elements of life that create meaning for us: such as plants, music, food, etc.

Some old members got grey hair after working more than 30 years at DAC.
There are younger members who will drive DAC in the future.

DAC VN became operational in 2022 near Hanoi, Vietnam. In addition to producing high quality aluminum poles, the facility will also feature a cut and sew facility producing high end tents and shelters

DAC VN will preserve the natural environment with the theme “a factory in the forest” and provide a pleasant space for employees.
